yoga teacher

Back in 2010, one of my besties asked me to try this thing call Bikram yoga. I nearly died! And I have
loved sweaty, sweet yoga ever since.
I was in awe of the teachers who impacted my practice and journey, and hoped one day I could do the
same. I signed up for a teacher training course in 2015 and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
I love our amazing Flow Space crew and the connections I make with the students. The vibe that we have in the
studios is supportive, cheeky and loving. Our communities are like family! We laugh, do yoga, we leave…
and do it all again the next day. It’s perfect.
The most challenging part of my job is also my favourite part – stepping out of the comfort zone. I am
forever learning and expecting just a little more from myself, so I can nourish my capabilities and put
them towards something I’m passionate about.
Yoga means the world to me. I don’t even want to picture who I’d be if I never found yoga! It’s therapy.
It gives me a space to nurture and shift my state of mind. By simply connecting to my breath and moving
my body consciously, no matter how I walk in to practise, I am guaranteed to walk out blissful and at
My own Asana practice is about four times a week if possible, but it has evolved to be more about the
off-the-mat stuff, like the observation of my thoughts and actions. I am still working on meditation, but I
feel I’ve nailed the balance of yoga and a social champers!
