Greg Jarema
yoga teacherFor those who are unafraid to sweat and have fun, Greg Jarema is the teacher who will connect you to your inner joy through yoga, dance, and meditation. Recently returned to Perth, Australia from living overseas, Greg brings his passion for connection, humor, storytelling, music, spirituality, and community into all of his classes. His students have come from all corners of the world including Thailand, India, Hungary, South Africa, Indonesia, United States, Russia, Australia, New Zealand and more.
With over 800 hours of training and 1,000 hours of teaching under his belt, Greg specializes in the Vinyasa, Kundalini, and Yin traditions. Classes are accompanied by strong physical adjustments, dance-inspired movements, and sequences that teach students access greater depth in their practice.
Greg’s true passion lies in teaching Kundalini Yoga as Taught by Yogi Bhajan. This ancient technology incorporates movement, breathwork, mantras, and meditation to elevate your life and experience total bliss. He is also in the process of becoming a certified Kundalini Yoga Therapist, a healing modality that incorporates knowledge from Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and the Kundalini traditions to holistically resolve a wide array of ailments. For Greg, Kundalini Yoga is the primary tool that helps him maintain passion and focus through the ups-and-downs of life as a performer. He has studied with world-renowned trainers Deva Kaur Khalsa, Kirn Kaur Khalsa, Guru Dharam, and Siri Sat.
Greg is also a passionate student of Abraham-Hicks’ Law of Attraction, A Course In Miracles, and other metaphysical texts. He firmly believes that the work done on our yoga mats should directly shape the way we interact with our world. So, Greg weaves these daily lessons into his classes in bite-sized formats that students can take out and practice in their lives.
Greg comes from a career background in theater and dance. He earned his B.F.A. in Drama from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and has spent the past decade as a performer and leader with the Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios Orlando, and various other productions throughout the United States, New Zealand, and Australia.
