Join us in this 2 hour workshop to discover the incredible power of Mantra, Mudra and Meditation. These pivotal practices are easily forgotten in everyday asana but fusing them in can really cultivate a deeper connection with our practice.
Cherry will guide us in this exploration of these ancient teachings, giving us easy ways to bring them into our daily practice and applying them to modern situations.
We’ll start with pranayama (breathing techniques) and a gentle flow incorporating mudra, then an introduction to mantra. What is it? Why do we need it? How will it help me connect to my practice?. The workshop will end with a relaxing guided meditation and reflection.

Hi, I’m Cherry, and I’ve been teaching yoga full time for the past 5 years. I began my movement journey as a child gymnast and surfer, and have found movement an essential part of life. I started my 200hr teacher training and never looked back – continuing another 300+ hours with Body Mind Life in Sydney, and engaging in a 200hr Meditation TT with Charlie Knowles from Mind Body Green. I found a wonderful mentor in Mandy Kopcho, owner of Power Living, and through her tutelage became the confident teacher I am today.
I teach a strong vinyasa class, encouraging strength, conditioning, and flow, with a focus on inversions and transitional movement. My Yin classes incorporate meditation and mindfulness for openness on both mental and physical planes.
