Come and join Marcia Jacobs as she leads you through a restorative 75 minute, candle-lit class finishing off with a sweet Yoga Nidra – a guided meditation that allows you to scan the body and tap into a state of relaxed consciousness as the mind settles in a place between wakefulness and sleep.
Yin Yoga is the perfect compliment to your strong physical Yang practices and is essential for a balanced approach to physical and mental health. In Yin Yoga we hold poses for a long time while muscles are relaxed and passive. The slow and measured practice of Yin aims to address and release the connective tissues and fascia.Yin helps to calm & balance the mind and body, in turn easing stress & anxiety. It can help to increase circulation and improve flexibility & joint mobility.
Class will be followed by chai + chats with fellow students.
